Floe
Your cold-water companion for iPhone and Apple Watch: today's water at your spot, how long to stay in, a dip timer with live heart rate, and a journal that shows how you adapt over the season.
Questions
Where do the water temperatures come from?
From Sea Temperature, a service with readings and forecasts for thousands of lakes, rivers and beaches. For an ice bath or a cold shower you enter the temperature yourself.
How long should I stay in the water?
Floe shows a guide by water temperature and your experience, and — with Premium — your own comfort time from your dips. It is orientation, not medical advice. Get out as soon as you shiver strongly, feel numb or your hands stop working, never dip alone, and talk to a doctor first if you have heart or blood-pressure conditions.
How do I use Floe on Apple Watch?
Install Floe on the watch from the Watch app on your iPhone (My Watch → Available Apps). Start a dip on the watch, or start it on the iPhone and the watch joins to measure your heart rate. Turn the Digital Crown to unlock Water Lock after a dip.
Heart rate doesn't show
Live heart rate needs the Floe app on your Apple Watch and Health access: in Floe turn on Apple Health, then allow heart rate and workouts. On iPhone check Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Floe.
What does Premium include, and how do I restore or cancel it?
Premium adds your comfort time, adaptation and recovery, live heart rate, sauna ↔ cold rounds, water alerts, rich widgets and removes ads. To restore a purchase, open the Premium screen in Floe and tap Restore. To cancel a subscription, go to iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Floe; it stays active until the end of the paid period.
Can I export or delete my journal?
Yes. In the Journal, tap the export button for a CSV file. Swipe a dip to delete it. Your journal is stored on your devices, not on our servers — see the privacy policy.
